Clayton Collins, Managing Partner
Clayton Collins is the Founder and Managing Partner at Riomar Capital, an
entrepreneurial investment firm formed to acquire, operate and grow a private business. Riomar Capital acquired HousingWire in 2016. Clayton currently serves as President and CEO of HousingWire.
Prior to founding Riomar Capital, Clayton Collins worked at RBC Capital Markets in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group based in New York, New York. He advised public and private corporations on a variety of M&A and corporate finance mandates across a diverse range of industries, including digital media, broadcasting and technology.
Before joining RBC, Clayton was Vice President of National Sales and Marketing at Citibank in New York, New York. In this role, Clayton managed the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies, relationship management tools and enhancements to the sales process for Citibank’s retail and commercial banking operations. Clayton began his career in Citibank’s Management Associate Leadership Development Program.
Clayton completed his MBA at The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He graduated from Elon University with a BS in Business Administration. Originally from Vero Beach, Florida, Clayton resides in Dallas, Texas.
